Anthropic says its consumer Claude product is now only available to people over 18, with age checks during account setup and additional verification if underage activity is detected. Users may verify through Yoti using facial age estimation, ID upload, or a Yoti Digital ID attribute, and Anthropic says it receives only a pass/fail result.
