Yandex outage shifted bot traffic rather than stopping it
Cloudflare analysis of traffic after reported strikes on Yandex facilities found that the outage sharply reduced overall HTTP traffic, but did not eliminate automated activity. Most traffic loss from Yandex Search was verified crawler traffic, while Yandex.Cloud saw malicious-style probing decline as high-volume automation moved to other hosting providers.
