Kubernetes 1.36 adds group snapshots for consistent backups
Kubernetes v1.36 generally available VolumeGroupSnapshot, a CSI-based API that restores the ability to snapshot multiple PVCs atomically as a consistency group. This helps stateful applications such as databases avoid inconsistent backups when data and log volumes are captured separately.
