Business✦ Emerging
With the move to Assess, BD should position Tableau as part of Salesforce’s broader data-and-AI story in enterprise conversations. That increases the value of discussions around integration, account expansion, and attaching Tableau to wider solution bundles rather than selling it in isolation.
Product✦ Emerging
With Tableau moving from Hold to Assess, PMs should treat it more as part of a Salesforce-aligned data stack than as a standalone reporting tool. As Salesforce bundles multiple AI capabilities into a unified enterprise harness, PMs will need to reconsider where Tableau fits in analytics workflows and prioritize use cases that can benefit from that integration.
