Anthropic says Claude has pushed coding and research workflows beyond human-scale tooling, making source control, builds, and CI the main bottlenecks. To support rapid growth in code merges, the company built Scion, its own version control system, and migrated its monorepo from git in five months alongside new review, search, and IAM tooling.
