Cloudflare introduced Workers KV Instant, a new mode for Workers KV that uses Quicksilver to provide near-instant global updates and much faster reads. The company says it delivers over 100x faster p99 read latency than classic Workers KV and lowers read pricing, while keeping the familiar KV API with a few limitations such as no metadata support and no pagination for list operations.
