Cursor iOS app reportedly switches users off Legacy Privacy Mode
A Hacker News user reported that installing and logging into Cursor’s iOS app changed their account from Privacy Mode (Legacy) to a newer Privacy Mode with broader data-storage language. According to support, the mobile app prompt to enable Cloud Agents caused the switch, and the account cannot currently be moved back through the app. The post warns users who want to keep the Legacy setting to avoid setting up the mobile app for now.
