TiVo plans to end free automatic commercial skipping on November 2, 2026 and replace it with a paid add-on called Premium Auto Commercial Skip. Users will still be able to skip ads manually with the 30-second skip or fast-forward controls, while existing recordings with SkipMode markers will continue to work until the cutoff date.
