Hugging Face and Voice Arena have added two new evaluation sets, Monsoon en-IN and Monsoon hi-IN, to the Open ASR Leaderboard. The release is notable because Hindi is the first Global South language on a multilingual tab that had previously covered only European languages, and the datasets include public and private splits with speaker-level attributes to improve fairness analysis.
