Espressif’s ESP32-S31 is a new microcontroller with unusually advanced peripherals, including gigabit Ethernet, USB 2.0 High-Speed host, dual SD card slots, camera input, and display support. The chip also uses dual RISC-V cores with full privilege modes and Sv32 paging, making it much closer to a small SBC platform than a traditional ESP32.
