Dutch tax authority drops Microsoft 365 cloud rollout for open source
The Netherlands’ Tax and Customs Administration has canceled its planned Microsoft 365 public-cloud rollout after concerns about security, data control, and future-proofing. The agency will keep Microsoft software for now, while planning an on-premises mail and calendar setup in 2027 and open-source collaboration and storage tools later in 2027–2028.
