US pays RWE to exit offshore wind projects
The Trump administration’s Interior Department reached a $1.2 billion deal with German energy firm RWE to abandon its offshore wind projects in the US. In return, RWE will redirect investment toward gas and LNG projects and give up leases off California, Louisiana, and in the New York Bight.
