Harness acquires Augment Code’s autonomous coding agents
Harness has acquired Augment Code’s Cosmos software factory, Auggie CLI, and Code Context Engine, along with the team behind them, to add autonomous coding agents to its software delivery platform. The companies plan to connect codebase understanding with deployment history so agents can use past failures and downstream validation feedback to revise code, though those integration capabilities have not yet shipped.
