Oracle halves Always Free ARM limits to 2 OCPUs and 12 GB
Oracle will enforce updated Always Free compute limits for Ampere A1 ARM instances starting August 18, 2026. Tenancies that exceed 2 OCPUs or 12 GB of memory in the ARM pool will have excess compute instances automatically terminated, while the two always-free x86 micro instances remain unchanged.
