Amazon Linux 2027 Enters Public Preview with SELinux Enforcing by Default
AWS has released Amazon Linux 2027 in public preview, based on the AL2023 foundation and shipping with kernel 7.1. SELinux is enabled in enforcing mode by default, which may cause applications that ran under AL2023's permissive mode to fail; AWS did not provide an AL2023 end-of-support date, a GA timeline, or an in-place migration path.
